Commercial air conditioning, planned around your building
Design, installation and commissioning for offices, retail, leisure and other commercial premises across the East Midlands, West Midlands and London.
Climate control for working buildings
Alpha Climate Solutions designs and installs commercial air conditioning around the building and the way it is used. That can be a single split in a back office, or a multi-floor system coordinated with other trades. Equipment is specified after a site survey and a heat-load calculation.
Commercial systems we install
Each system is sized after a site survey and a heat-load calculation, so it matches the building rather than a catalogue page.
VRF and VRV
For larger and multi-floor buildings, where one outdoor plant serves many indoor units and each zone can run on its own.
Split and multi-split
One room, or several rooms from a single outdoor unit. A straightforward choice for offices, shops and smaller commercial spaces.
Ceiling cassette
Four-way airflow from the ceiling, where wall space is tight and the room needs even coverage without a wall unit on show.
Ducted systems
Concealed units and discreet grilles for spaces that need climate control without an indoor unit mounted in the room.
From first conversation to handover
The sequence is the same whether the job is one office or a multi-floor fit-out. Timescales are confirmed in the proposal.
Talk through the job
We start with the building, how people use it, and any limits on the work — occupied floors, trading hours, landlord rules, or a main contractor programme.
Review drawings and the brief
If you already have plans, a specification or an M&E pack, we work from those before anyone arrives on site.
Survey the building
The visit covers layout, heat load, existing services, access, and where indoor and outdoor units can actually be placed.
Recommend a system
You receive a written proposal for system type, capacity and zoning, based on the survey rather than a standard package.
Agree the programme
Phasing, access and coordination with other trades are settled first. Occupied or trading buildings can be scheduled for evenings, weekends or a staged handover.
Install, test and commission
Pipework, pressure testing, vacuum drying, charging and commissioning are completed to the manufacturer's specification.
Hand over the records
Commissioning data, F-Gas paperwork and handover notes stay with the system. Planned maintenance can follow if you want it.
Before first fix
Agree the electrical supply and the outdoor unit position at survey, before first fix. An undersized supply, or a condenser with poor airflow and no room to service it, causes faults long after the building is finished — and both are far harder to move once the site is closed up.
Installation that is finished properly
Mounting the indoor units is only part of the job. The pipework, testing and records are what keep a commercial system reliable after handover.
- Refrigerant pipework to manufacturer specification
- Nitrogen-purged brazing
- Full pressure testing and vacuum drying
- Commissioning records and F-Gas documentation
- RAMS and site paperwork where the project requires them
- Engineers who can work to a main contractor or M&E programme
Built for commercial sites
F-Gas certified engineers, clear paperwork, and a programme that fits the building — for the occupier or for the contractor running the site.
The main commercial system types
From a single office split to multi-floor VRF and VRV, cassette and ducted systems, sized after a survey and heat-load calculation.
F-Gas certified, with the paperwork
Engineers hold current F-Gas certification. Each installation includes commissioning records and handover documents for the building and later maintenance.
